The Museum of Łowicz: tel. +48 46 837 39 28, The Museum is situated in an ancient missionary building (on the market place) and was founded by Archbishop Mikołaj Radziejewski in 1689. All its three floors have different exhibitions. Reserve 1,5 hour.
The Renaissance-Baroque Cathedral on the market square originates from the XII century. Inside there is a splendid Baroque altar from the XVII century and many chapels, portraits and tombs of archbishops and primates. Reserve half an hour! We recommend you take a walk round the market place to see the residence of the Bishop of Łowicz and The Church of Saint Mary The Merciful with its superb interiors and huge Baroque facade monumentally presented on the left corner of the square! Reserve half an hour!
